Monday -Thursday February 23-26
Leave for Ocean City Friday, February 27th
WE WILL MEET AT 3:45 pm at the BLUE HOUSE.
We have to leave early to attempt to beat rush hour and get there at a reasonable time as it is a 3 hour drive. Please contact me if we need to arange picking up your child because of the early meet time.
Transportation: All cheerleaders MUST meet at 3:45 and ride together with either myself, or one of the designated chaperone's to the hotel so that I can ensure EVERYONE is there on time.
Lodging: We will be staying at the
Princess Royale Hotel,
9100 Coastal Hwy,
Ocean City, MD 21842

There are still suites available at $99. Ask for the American Cheer and Dance Academy/Reach the Beach Nationals rate, if interested. Contact: Lisa Roberts @ 410-524-2544

The individual partner stunt event actually takes place on Friday 1/27, the day before the competition. Registration deadline for the individual cheerleader ($50) or the individual stunt group ($125) competitions is February 6th. Please see me ASAP if your child wants to compete. The jump-off (best 3 jumps) and tumble-off (best tumbling pass) is done at the competition and is $10 for one event or $15 for both.
Hair: LOW bun- part on left, bun on right (LOW).
It is the same style as our last competition, however SEVERAL squad members came with medium to high buns, rather than low.
Please ensure your child's bun is no more than an inch and a half from the nape of the neck.
To make the bun, please use a "hair bun donut", many scrunchis, or a sock to create a perfect sphere (unless the hair is extremely long--where you would braid or twist and then wrap around the base of the ponytail).
